Collaborative Student Project – App Design
The goal of this project was to work with a small group to create a unique concept and functional prototype for a mobile app.
Looking to adopt a new pet can be a time consuming process, and all the choices can be overwhelming. In an attempt to encourage people to adopt their new pet from a shelter rather than a breeder or pet store and to simplify the search process by creating options curated specifically to each user, our three person team (Emily Garrett, Ivy Martin, and myself) created Flüf.
The app has three main components. Flüf Finder allows users to curate what kinds of pets they are looking to potentially adopt and swipe left or right on potential matches similar to a dating app. Flüf Friends allows users to connect with fellow pet owners and share photos of their fur babies. Flüf Shelter allows animal shelters to list their pets in the Flüf data base for local users to match with in hopes of finding forever homes for their animals.
