Student Project – Poster Design

This poster for the band She & Him is a stylized digital collage utilizing bright colors to convey the quirky and fun pop aesthetic of the band’s music. The goal of this project was to use a collage technique to create a band poster that fans would want to keep and display. The poster uses a variety of illustrative imagery with a vintage feel as a nod to the group’s 2014 album Classics which features covers of classic songs. The tandem bicycle was inspired by lyrics in the band’s song Black Hole as well as the fact that the band consists of two members, which is emphasized by the group’s name.
